Laugh, and sometimes cringe, as performers depict what can happen to teenagers who emulate their favorite action heroes. skinner/kirk DANCE ENSEMBLE
  • Where: Bodyvox, Portland
  • When: February 2th - 11th
  • Portland dance company BodyVox continues its season with the Skinner/Kirk Dance Ensemble. Choreographed by local dancers Eric Skinner and Daniel Kirk, this program does a modern aerobatic spin on traditional ballet techniques. The program also features a new duet by Portland choreographer Josie Moseley.

Madame Butterfly

  • The Portland Opera presents Madame Butterfly. Puccini’s famous work tells the story of a Japanese woman’s unwavering love for an unreliable American sailor. It is part of this season’s theme – When Our World Changes. You can catch it this weekend and next.
