Portland artist, Don MacLane holds BA and MFA degrees in Sculpture from Antioch College and the University of Oregon. But it was his experience as a steel fabricator and his degree in mechanical engineering that gave him the skills that he now uses in his kinetic sculptures and the experimental musical instruments that he builds.
