Medical marijuana is legal in more than a dozen states — but not under federal law.

Approximately 20 bills relating to medical marijuana were introduced in Oregon's legislature this session. Of those, only one has survived. It aims to place more restrictions on who can receive a medical marijuana card and how many plants growers can possess.

Oregon is one state where local laws are out of compliance with federal law. Washington is another — and that's where a heated battle rages. The federal government cracked down by raiding medical marijuana dispensaries in Washington, while officials urged lawmakers to pass a bill that would clarify laws so patients, dispensaries and state workers would be safe from legal consequences.

Are you a patient, a grower, a dispensary owner or a state worker? Where would you like to see Oregon's medical marijuana reform focus next?
